As opposed to impartially providing information, propaganda in its most basic sense presents information in order to influence its audience.

"Propaganda is neutrally defined as a systematic form of purposeful persuasion that attempts to influence the emotions, attitudes, opinions, and actions of specified target audiences for ideological, political or commercial porposes through the controlled transmission of one-sided messages (which may or may not be factual) via mass and direct media channels. Most people generally think of propaganda in political contexts, in particular to refer to certain efforts sponsored by governments and political groups. Propaganda also has much in common with public information campaigns by governments, which are intended to encourage or discourage certain forms of behavior (such as wearing seat belts, not smoking, not littering, conserving energy and so forth).

Its close cousins, advertising and public relations, shares the same techniques as propaganda, albeit for different purposes. Advertising and public relations can be thought of as propaganda that promotes a commercial product or shapes the perception of an organization.

In recent years, the differences between propaganda, advertising, and public relations have become more blurred as the roles of government and commercialism have blended.

The entire corporate media – from Fox to CNN and MSNBC – is a propaganda machine erected by the ruling elite. Its primary purpose is to disseminate globalist propaganda, shape public opinion, and keep the false right-left paradigm that divides people going at all cost.

Operation Mockingbird

Once dubbed a "conspiracy theory," the Church Committee investigation in 1975 exposed a secret Central Intelligence Agency campaign to influence domestic and foreign media beginning in the 1950s.

Operation Mockingbird

Starting in the early days of the Cold War (late 40's), the CIA began a secret project called Operation Mockingbird, with the intent of buying influence behind the scenes at major media outlets and putting reporters on the CIA payroll. In 1948, Wall Street lawyer Frank Wisner established Mockingbird, and recruited Philip Graham from The Washington Post to run the project within the industry. According to Deborah Davis in Katharine the Great; "By the early 1950s, Wisner 'owned' respected members of The New York Times, Newsweek, CBS and other communications vehicles." After 1953, Operation Mockingbird had a major influence over 25 newspapers and wire agencies. It was discovered that from the 1950s through the 1970s, the CIA was paying many journalists in the USA and foreign locations to publish what they wanted. These organizations were run by people with well-known left-wing views such as William Paley (CBS), Henry Luce (Time and Life Magazine), Arthur Hays Sulzberger (New York Times), Alfred Friendly (managing editor of the Washington Post), Jerry O'Leary (Washington Star), Hal Hendrix (Miami News), Barry Bingham, Sr., (Louisville Courier-Journal), James Copley (Copley News Services) and Joseph Harrison (Christian Science Monitor). New World Order propaganda spokesmen are seeding the corporate owned mainstream media.

Each of the major networks feature their news anchors, reporters and pundits to offer up to the mesmerized public audience a version of reality in line with the collectivist message of the New World Order. Massive public relations campaigns are pitched to convince the public these spokespersons offer credible opinion or commentary on a particular subject area on which he/she is presumed to be knowledgeable.

Before you believe everything you see on TV, think about what these insiders have at stake should they loose their crooked providers in government? It is the job of these people to sell the American public on the merits of the New World Order agenda.

Privately owned news media promote the economic and political interests of the large companies that own or advertise with them. These giant conglomerates, all belonging to the secret Bilderberg Group, Council on Foreign Relations, the Club of Rome, and the Trilateral Commission, control the world's flow of information. They determine what we see on television, hear on the radio and read in newspapers, magazines, books, or on the Internet.

These publicly traded corporations try to keep the Bilderberger guest-list a secret, and the corporate press scarcely reports on the event at all. The likes of Microsoft, AT&T, Bechtel, Cisco, Compaq and Price Waterhouse Coopers have nothing to fear from the press. Never mind that Microsoft and NBC co-own MSNBC cable network. In fact, among the frequently invited Bilderberg guests can be found the name of Anthony Ridder of Knight-Ridder, Inc., America's second-largest newspaper chain, which owns such publications as the Detroit Free Press, the Miami Herald and the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Andrea MitchellBilderberger attendee, Andrea Mitchell is a Washington, D.C.-based American television journalist, anchor, reporter, and commentator for NBC News. She is the NBC News Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent, and has recently reported on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, Today, and MSNBC. She anchors the 1 p.m. hour of MSNBC Live, has appeared on Meet the Press, and is often a guest on Hardball with Chris Matthews.
Mitchell is married to former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan.

David GergenTrilateral Commission member, David Gergen is best known as a political consultant and presidential advisor during the administrations of Nixon, Ford, Reagan, and Clinton. Gergen is a political contributor to CNN and frequently appears on Anderson Cooper 360. He also appears on MSNBC's Hardball with Chris Matthews.

In December 2009, Comcast announced that it would purchase a 51% controlling state in NBC Universal from General Electric (which would retain the remaining 49%). In addition to the NBC Television Network and the NBC Television Stations Division, Comcast also owns CNBC, which is the global leader in business news, reaching 175 million homes worldwide. In April 2002, NBC purchased Telemundo, the second-largest U.S. Spanish-language television network, and in December 2002, the company added the Bravo cable network to its portfolio. In partnership with Microsoft, NBC operates MSNBC, which features a mix of general news and political discussion programs with a liberal stance.

ABC is owned by the Disney Corporation, "which produces toys and products in developing countries where they provide their workers with atrocious wages and working conditions. It has 153 TV stations. Chase Manhattan Bank controls 6.7% of ABC's stock - enough to give it a controlling interest. Chase, through its trust department, controls 14% of CBS and 4.5% of RCA. Instead of three competing television networks called NBC, CBS, and ABC, what we really have is the Rockefeller Broadcasting Company, the Rockefeller Broadcasting System, and the Rockefeller Broadcasting Consortium.

The ideas and policies that come out of the Bilderberg annual meetings are used to generate news in the leading periodicals and news groups of the world. The point is to make the prevalent opinions of the Bilderbergers so appealing that they become public policy and to pressure world leaders into submitting to the New World Order. The "free world press" is completely at the mercy of the Bilderbergers disseminating the agreed-upon propaganda.

Cable News Network (CNN) was founded in 1980 by media mogul Ted Turner as the first all-news television channel in the US. It's counterpart, CNN International broadcasts to over 212 countries and territories worldwide.

In March 2011, CNN sent Amber Lyon and a journalist team to Bahrain to cover the Arab Spring. As Glenn Greenwald of the UK’s Guardian writes in his article: “In the segment, Lyon interviewed activists as they explicitly described their torture at the hands of government forces, while family members recounted their relatives’ abrupt disappearances. She spoke with government officials justifying the imprisonment of activists. And the segment featured harrowing video footage of regime forces shooting unarmed demonstrators, along with the mass arrests of peaceful protesters. In sum, the early 2011 CNN segment on Bahrain presented one of the starkest reports to date of the brutal repression embraced by the US-backed regime."

CNN International (CNNi) never broadcast the documentary. Even in the face of numerous inquiries and complaints from their own employees inside CNN, it continued to refuse to broadcast the program or even provide any explanation for the decision. To date, this documentary has never aired on CNNi.

Lyon says she “saw first-hand that these regime claims were lies, and I couldn’t believe CNN was making me put what I knew to be government lies into my reporting.”

In March 2012, Lyon was laid off from CNN and given a severance and health package in an effort to shut her up. “At this point,” Lyon said, “I look at those payments as dirty money to stay silent. Kristol cofounded the neoconservative Project for the New American Century (PNAC) in 1997 with Robert Kagan and he is a member of the Policy Advisory Board for the neoconservative Ethics and Public Policy Center. Kristol has also been an attendee at Bilderberg Group conferences.

The FOX network, owned by Bilderberg Group luminary, Rupert Murdoch, owns a significant portion of the world's media and in 2011 ws the world's second-largest media group. The Fox Television Network includes includes 22 stations, reaching 50% of US households. Fox International has extensive worldwide cable and satellite networks including British Sky Broadcasting; VOX, Germany; Canal Fox, Latin America; FOXTEL, Australia; STAR TV, Asia; IskyB, India; Bahasa Programming Ltd., Indonesia; and News Broadcasting, Japan. Also included under the News Corp. umbrella is The Wall Street Journal and 20th Century Fox.

In July 2011, News Corp closed down the News of the World newspaper in the UK following allegations of phone hackings of former Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Tony blair, and the Royal Family.

The FOX News Channel has close ties to the Republican Party and among their "fair and balanced" commentators is Newt Gingrich, former GOP Republican House speaker.

After leaving CNN in 2009 following attacks from liberal advocacy groups like Media Matters and the Southern Poverty Law Center, conservative host Lou Dobbs eventually made his way to the Fox Business Network in 2011 where he hosts the show Lou Dobbs Tonight. He also makes regular appearances on Fox News Channel's The O'Reilly Factor and CNBC's The Kudlow Report.

Judge Andrew Napolitano joined the Fox News Channel in 1998. He serves as the senior judicial analyst and from 2009 until 2012, hosted the libertarian talk show called Freedom Watch.

Glenn Beck is a conservative television and radio host, political commentator, author, and media personality that has spent time in both CNN from January 2006 to October 2008 and from January 2009 to June 2011 on the Fox News Channel. In 2009 Beck's program drew more viewers than all three of the competing time-slot shows combined on CNN, MSNBC and HLN. Glenn Beck's Fox News one-hour show ended June 30, 2011, and he went on to launch his subscription-based internet TV network, TheBlaze TV, originally called GBTV, on September 12, 2011.

Rupert Murdoch’s Twentieth Century Fox corporation has admitted to planting political brainwashing within its globally popular TV shows and indeed boasts that it is proud of the fact. A corporate video currently being showcased on another part of Murdoch’s media empire,, shows Fox executives and stars of its universally recognized shows bragging about how they use the platform of hit shows that are broadcast globally to implant messages about the supposed threat of global warming.

Fox has embarked on a deliberate campaign, which could only have been done with the coordination of the script writers of each program, to force people to accept the pseudo-science of global warming by brainwashing them into accepting it as a reality. This has been achieved by weaving in messages about climate change and having popular characters in the TV shows embrace specific tenants of the global warming manifesto.

If you get your perspective about the world around you from the corporate owned CIA managed mainstream media, understand this... you don't have a clue. These organizations do not necessarily report the truth. They are all part of the modern day American Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda.

Media Influencing American Elections

Dating back to 1913, the Tavistock Institute used polls to shape public opinion into accepting Britain's entry into World War I. The plan to ‘create’ public opinion through the fake reporting of bogus polling date began as a propaganda factory centered at Wellington House in London. Sir Edward Grey, the British Foreign Secretary at the time, installed Lord Northcliffe (Britain’s most influential newspaper magnate) as its director. Lord Northcliffe’s position was supervised by Lord Rothmere on behalf of the British Crown. The operational staff of Wellington House consisted of Lord Northcliffe, and Arnold Toynbee, according to John Coleman. [The Common Sense Show]

John Coleman, the author of the classic book Conspirators Hierarchy, The Committee of 300, was one of the the first writers to call attention to the existence of Tavistock, in 1969, and the rest as they say is history. Subsequently, we learn from Coleman’s work that polls were designed to not really measure public opinion, they were designed to shape public opinion.

Donald Trump highlighted the problem of the dishonest mainstream media in his campaign for President in 2016. For example, his rallies were drawing overflowing crowds of tens of thousands, but the media would not show those crowds or report on them. Conversely, they would use tight camera shots to conceal the small crowds attending Hillary Clinton rallies.

Another example were the distorted polls the media fed the public to discourage potential voters from voting. If the country believes the race is essentially decided, some deflated voters stay at home and don't vote. WikiLeaks published emails among Democrats talking about inflating poll numbers of key Democratic constituencies by oversampling the number of Democrats surveyed and undersampling Replublicans.

In a recent FOX poll, it consisted on 43 Democrats, 36 Republicans, and 21 other. An NBC poll consisted on 44 Democrats, 37 Republicans and 19 other. Clearly, the oversampling of Democrats are designed to provide a Democrat result. In 1980 a Gallup poll released two weeks before the election had Jimmy Carter leading Ronald Reagan 47-39. Two weeks later Reagan won in such a landslide that Carter conceded before California was closed.

Because polls are designed to project the behavior of more than 120 million people, an incorrect voter model in a survey of several hundered people can easily throw election results off by many percentage points.

In another leak of emails of Hillary Clinton campaign manager John Podesta, strange language filled with code words seemed to expose a demonic child sex ring. Later, Edward Welch entered Comet Ping Pong pizzeria in Washington, DC wielding an assault rifle to "self-investigage" the story that top Democrats were running a child sex ring out of the basement. The pizza place, it turns out, doesn’t have a basement, which the mainstream media jumped on to discredit the whole child sex ring angle as being "fake news" conspiracy theory.

Never mind the facts, but since one detail (no basement) was incorrect, mainstream media consumers were expected to ignore the entire "Pizzagate" thing as being false. And, even if Comet Ping Pong is not directly affiliated with Pizzagate, that fact does not negate the larger story of a child sex ring. Pentagon Propaganda Machine

The Pentagon has used the corporate media as a propaganda delivery system since at least the late 1990s. The U.S. Army’s 4th Psychological Operations (PSYOPS) Group at Ft. Bragg works in the news division at CNN. The CIA’s Operation Mockingbird has dominated corporate media since 1948.

An Associated Press investigation found that over the past five years, the money the military spends on winning hearts and minds at home and abroad, what it calls "the human terrain", has grown by 63 percent, to at least $4.7 billion this year, according to Department of Defense budgets and other documents. In 2009, the Pentagon will employ 27,000 people just for recruitment, advertising and public relations which makes it bigger in size, money and power than many media companies.

The current emphasis on propaganda operations started with former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. In 2002, Rumsfeld established the Office of Strategic Influence that brought together public affairs and psychological operations. Congress demanded that the office be shut down. Rumsfeld responded in a speech he delivered on Nov. 18, 2002, "There's the name. You can have the name, but I'm gonna keep doing every single thing that needs to be done and I have." In 2003, Rumsfeld issued a secret Information Operations Roadmap setting out a plan for public affairs and psychological operations to work together. It noted that with a global media, the military should expect and accept that psychological operations will reach the U.S. public.

Out of its Joint Hometown News Service located on an abondoned Air Force base in San Antonio, Texas, Pentagon staff writers pump out thousands of press releases, television releases and radio interviews, all provided free to news organizations around the world. The stories go out with authors' names but not their titles, and do not mention Hometown News anywhere.

Despite a supposed prohibition on propaganda, spending on public affairs stories designed to influence the American public has more than doubled since 2003. A recent inspector general audit concluded that a public affairs program called "America Supports You" was conducted "in a questionable and unregulated manner" with funds meant for the military's Stars and Stripes newspaper.

One of the fastest-growing parts of the military media is "psychological operations," where spending has also doubled since 2003. Psychological operations are generally aimed at foreign audiences, not intended for American consumption. However, when an American TV anchor asked Gen. David Petraeus about the mood in Iraq, the general held up a glossy photo of the Iraqi national soccer team to show the country united in victory. In fact, it was U.S. psychological operations that had quietly distributed tens of thousands of the soccer posters in July 2007 to encourage Iraqi nationalism.

Rear Adm. Gregory Smith, director of strategic communications for the U.S. Central Command, says psychological operations must be secret to be effective. He says that in the 21st century, it is probably not possible to win the information battle with insurgents without exposing American citizens to secret U.S. propaganda.

According to an Associated Content article, “Studies have shown that watching television induces low alpha waves in the human brain. Alpha waves are brainwaves between 8 to 12 HZ. and are commonly associated with relaxed meditative states as well as brain states associated with suggestibility.”

Experiments have shown that less than one minute after the viewer begins to watch television, the brain switches from Beta level consciousness, associated with active and logical thought, to Alpha level, which is associated with passive acceptance and suggestibility. This is why advertisers spend billions a year on commercials as well as product placement within TV shows themselves.
